The Inland Riverside Chinese School was established in 1989 and is a non-profit, non-religious and non-political organization.

The purpose of the IRCS is to provide students in the community a well-rounded and innovative Mandarin Chinese language program. Through its many school and community activities throughout the year, the rich Chinese culture will be enhanced and celebrated.

IRCS welcomes students of all ages and all ethnic backgrounds. The school offers various levels of Mandarin language classes for school-age children as well as for adults. Classes in Chinese and calligraphy are offered year-round for all who wish to enrich their personal lives and appreciate Chinese culture.

IRCS holds classes at John North high school in Riverside on Saturdays from 9 am until 12 noon, except for major holidays.
